About this item

Product details

This Better Homes & Gardens kitchen trash can offers an 11.9-gallon capacity that fits standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bags, so you can line it with common liners you likely already keep on hand. It's built for indoor household use as a single-compartment can, making it a straightforward choice for everyday disposal. A wide step pedal opens the lid hands-free, so you can toss waste without touching the lid, and the soft-close lid is designed to help keep opening and closing quieter. When it's time to change the bag, the stay-open function holds the lid up to help with the swap, while the liner-securing tabs and wide lid frame work together to help keep the bag in place and tucked out of sight. The slim rectangular shape is made to sit neatly against walls or cabinets, finished in black with stainless steel accents for a clean, modern look. Care is simple: wipe with a soft cloth.

We purchased this same BHG trash can a few months ago for our RV. We liked it so much that we made this second purchase for our home. We were able to get the color we wanted online since the local Walmart did not have our color. And shipping was free! Highly recommended.

Good trashcan

I am a big fan of this trash can. It's made of a solid plastic so it doesn't dent easily, and it has a soft close lid so it doesn't slam. Plus, it fits the standard 13 gallon bags, which is why I bought it. Also very easy to clean, and it looks good.

Adios bugs

We were experiencing flies in the kitchen. Turns out the trash can was the culprit. Flies would get in and produce larvae and more flies. The new can seals when closed, the trash bag fits snuggly around the container and keeps the bugs out. The foot operated lid is also a good feature no more fumbling to open it when depositing trash. Easy to clean too.
