Most trash cans with this kind of lid have a plastic inner section that you can pull out, I was surprised this one did not. And be sure you look at the measurements because it's a really tiny trash can. But it works.

Great quality

I wanted a slim plastic step trash can for the main bathroom. This is very sturdy and well made. It even has a slow close lid. I prefer plastic over the metal because over time it rusts due to the moisture in the bathroom. Unfortunately I do have to return as it did not fit the space I planned for it (btw vanity and toilet).
