Great shorts for active little boys

I bought these shorts for my six-year-old who weighs 55 pounds, is 4‘1“, and wearing a size 6/7. These were on the longer side of length, coming Right at his kneecap. The materials, lightweight, great for playing sports or running around outside. I like that the waistband has drawstrings so he can grow into these. The price is very affordable and these have many great uses.

Kids and one basketball shorts

My daughter is nine years old and normally wears a 10–12 and clothing. I bought a size 8 in these shorts knowing that they were oversized basketball shorts. She loves having big shorts to wear just to play outside or where to bed. These were perfect in the waist and weren't so oversized that she looked like she was drowning in them. I love that these come in multiple colors and for the price point you can't beat it.

Super cute Boys AND1 all court basketball shorts

These are the AND1 boys all court basketball athletic shorts, the color choice I got is sleet and these are a size S (6/7). My boy has been wearing the XS (4/5) but we are moving up in size. The fit is great, and he has plenty of room to grow. These have a wide elastic waistband with a drawstring for a tighter fit if needed. The fabric is a lightweight silky polyester so they are super comfortable. The shorts have good sized pockets which my little guy loves!
