This chair is very comfortable . The chair has a good balance of comfort and firmness, granted it is new and we will have to see how it feels over time. The only couple small items that could be better is the amount of effort it takes to close the chair to make it latch. My big Lazy Boy recliner has a lever which makes closing easier. This chair takes a bit of leg power to get it to close. The only small item is the phone holder. The connection to the chair is high on the side vs. lower in the assembly instructions. You have to snake the flexible holder around to get the phone holder to the position you want. One other item that would be good is for the phone holder to be small enough to hold the remote. BUT, don't let those points stop you from considering this chair.
