If I light one at night, it burns down in approximately 3 hours .... and I check to make certain it is totally out by bedtime so I can close the fireplace. This is always on hand during cold weather. Great for fire place or fire ring. The logs burn cleaner than some other brands but still give off a little smoke so have good ventilation. The logs are easy to handle and light and there is bot much crackling sound. Overall good for wood burning fireplaces.
