I received this a couple of weeks ago and held off actually trying until I had watched a number of YouTube videos. They were very helpful. The instructions that come with were, let's say, somewhat limited. First off, I am pretty fair skinned with medium dark hair, so this should work on me. If you've had laser treatments for hair removal, you know the drill. Shave 24-48 before using. No product (moisturizers) on your skin. Do a test area about 24 hours before, just to make sure that you don't have a reaction. Used on my face last night. Wore the goggles of course. Applied aloe gel afterwords. The cooling part really helps. Not pain at all. Used setting 3. May increase it next time. And for your face, you don't need one of the covers. They don't tell you that in the instructions. Again, just used this for the first time yesterday. If I can, I'll update in a few weeks. Supposed to see results then.
