Duck Max Strength Rolled Insulation Film Window Kit, 62 in. x 126 in., Fits 3 Windows

My 1st time using a product like this so I thought that I would mess it up but the instructions were clear and installing this plastic was easy. I put this over two windows that are close together and I have enough left to do 2 separate windows on a different wall. The plastic isn't thick but is just right. I have not heard the plastic moving around when the wind blows which was a concern of mine as it is in my bedroom. As soon as I finished I noticed a major difference in the smell of allergens in the air which was the reason for this project and it worked. Afterwards I was able to move the couch back in front of this window with no worries of drafts or allergens being as though the window is ground level.

I have used this for the last 2 winters. I have 2 cats and a dog and this has lasted the whole winter even with the cats scratching at it and the dog pressing his nose on it. I'm able to cover all 3 of the big windows in my old home apartment with just one box. I once used the regular kind when this was sold out and I had to replace it within a week. There's a bit of a learning curve with it but simple once you get the hang of it. I put the tape around the frame first, roughly measure out the plastic, then use a pair of tweezers to pull the backing off the tape. Do this one section at a time. Peel the top, place the plastic, peel a side, plastic, other side, plastic, finish with the bottom. If you don't press the plastic hard onto the tape right away you can adjust the plastic on the tape.
