This is a good big and tall chair. I'm 5'11", and it's high enough off of the floor for my legs to have enough room. It's sturdy- I'm plus sized and it supports me well. I was in the furniture business for many years and have seen the good and the not so good. Honestly I didn't expect much as the chair wasn't what I consider expensive. Upon opening the box I could tell it was better than I expected. I got my daughter to put it together for me under my supervision everything was there and everything fit together as it should. It's new so I really have no idea what the future with this chair will bring, but I'm happy for the moment. Some of the screws are screwed into the hole they belong in so you have to take them out, put whatever piece that is supposed to go on it and tighten it down. The pieces in the box look more intimidating than it is. You can do it.
