Perfect Laptop for Personal Use

We have Lenovo computers at my current work and love them, and the IT guy at my last company recommended a Lenovo laptop when I let him know the case on my HP laptop had broken from sitting at home on a desk and getting opened a little more or a little less occasionally (essentially zero use by a mature adult). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to do data analysis, browse the web, read papers, and watch videos. So far has been great with no overheating issues. The trackpad is OK and seems to gum up sometimes but is generally fine. Reboots help fix anything which makes it seem to be more a firmware or software issue than an actual design flaw.
