Doesn't work, but quality construction.

Generous to give three stars. Construction is remarkably good: all parts are sturdy metal. The magnifier is actually glass, instead of the expected plastic. The kit comes with a spare genuine clipper. And yet. . . It doesn't work. I can't position the device to slip under any nail to cut it. The magnifier is TOTALLY USELESS: The clip holding it to the shaft is only a little bit of plastic, which doesn't stay in any position long enough to be useful. I've trued the suggested technique: clip after a bath or shower, when the nails are softer. STILL DOESN'T WORK.
