Tuffrider Women Leather Regal Field Boots - 10 Black Regular

I bought these because the Belmont boots were backordered. After getting back into riding a couple years ago, I had a very tough time finding tall boots because I am in between calf sizes in many brands, I didn't want to spend a fortune (I don't show), & I can't stand the thick stiff leather of many brands in my budget. These are exquisite looking, I wasn't sure about the square toe, but I like it a lot. The leather is so soft and comfortable, & the grippy leather inner panel really helps me with my leg. I will say that I followed the sizing chart to the tee, and they run big in the calf. I have a 15.5" calf, so should have needed a wide, and exchanged down for a regular because I could fit my whole hand in the wide. Also runs big in the foot size, I am an 8 always always in regular shoes, with a wide foot, & I needed a 7.5 in these. I really couldn't be happier with these beautiful boots. I don't understand the negative reviews, they are so comfortable right out of the box, beautiful on, and don't have the bulky ankle feel of some other popular brands. I really like the snap on zipper covers at the heels too.
