Cost effective fix for tennis elbow

They fit my large 13" forearms and they work. I read that it's not good to wear them 24/7 so I wear it only when doing anything that requires me to pick up or manipulate anything heavy. I liked that they came in a 2 - Pack. This allowed me to wear one while washing the other. Though overall fit and finish was decent. I was getting scratched by the velcro whenever I moved my arm. This was easily remedied by using scissors to slightly taper the sides of the velco ends. Just be careful not to cut the threads that hold the velcro to the brace.

Just what the Physical Therapist Ordered

My son is experiencing a very long, painful recovery from a severely broken ankle. He spent months is a cast that kept his foot in the drop position, toes pointed downward. Now that all of the casts and boots are gone, he has difficulty lifting the front portion of his foot into the normal position, at 90 degrees from his leg. His PT recommended getting a corrective splint, like this one. She even found one for us on the company named after the big South American river. When I got home, I started looking online for what we needed. I fond this one for about half the price of the suggested one that could be delivered in 2 days for free rather the 5 to 7 days offered by the Jeff Bezos company. When we showed what we purchased to out PT she was extremely impressed. This is exactly what she had in mind. So far it is working great. My grown son has no difficultly putting it on and so far it seems to be helping. He can wear it to bed and get several hours of gentle, but effective stretch on his shortened Achilles tendon. He are happy customers.
