Gaiam Premium Reversible 2-Color 5mm Yoga Mat

I'm a beginner, but I didn't want to buy a really cheap mat only to end up needing to spend again to get a decent one. After reading a lot about how to choose a yoga mat, I went with this one. It has just the right balance of cushioning and support. The colors are vibrant without being too bright. 

I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years and the Gaiam Premium 5mm mat is by far my favorite yoga mat. The surface is ideal to prevent slipping. The cushioning is perfect when I practice restorative yoga. I can hold a pose for over 20 minutes with complete comfort. I love the 2 color look of this mat. The Gaiam bolsters and meditation cushion that I own are plum and the plum/jam 5mm mat looks great with the rest of my yoga props. I highly recommend this yoga mat for its performance qualities, aesthetic appeal and affordable cost.
