It works well for the price.

1) charge the battery, 2) to use - put in your ear then press the clear button which is the volume button to adjust the reception of the amplifier. You don't need to put in your ear to do that, you can do it before put in your ear. You will hear hissing sound but it will stop when you stop blocking area that cause it. It works and you get use to it in no time. It provides clear reception sound, it is quite sensitive. I pay $26.94 for 2 included shipping of $6.95.
