Comfortable and sound dampening

I have been using them a month now, and they stick great to the flooring on the stairs and really help with sound dampening and feel more comfortable walking on them. They also took care of the problem of slippery steps. I am very impressed especially for the price. My only complaint is the plastic backing that you were moved to apply the stair tread is way too thin and it's difficult to peel off since it rips off in many small pieces. So that doubled or tripled the time it took to install.
