I received this scale as a gift and am truly indebted for their thoughtfulness. It's so perfect, easy to tare, weighs to the 10th of a unit, no mess with the pad cover, confident in my baking results. Nifty timer for brewing the best cup of drip coffee. Who would have thought!

I purchased this for weighing small quantities of sugar, salt, baking powder, yeast, and cocoa for baking. I particularly picked it because if the timer is on the scale does not shut off and lose its memory if i get a phone call or other interruption while weighing accumulated tares. The website indicates 0.1 gram accuracy, but i cannot find any information to support this. i think they mean 0.1 gram resolution. i have not attempted to verify the accuracy but my baking results have been quite consistent using this scale. I am well pleased and feel it is a good value in a somewhat hard to find arena for weighing small quantities of ingredients.
