I was skeptical about this purchase. I have read that weighted blankets can help you sleep better, so I decided to give this a try. First things first. Very well packaged and obviously heavy. Upon carefully opening the boxes I was surprised by the color and softness of the blanket. The fleece is top tier. I have a 14” queen mattress and this is a perfect fit for my bed. I went to sleep and as soon as I covered myself with the blanket I understood what the fuzz is all about. You feel like you're being hugged. I thought I was going to feel suffocated, but that was not the case. I felt relaxed and I fell in a deep sleep. I recommend this blanket to whoever wants to try it, taking into consideration that the actual weight of the blanket is designed to work depending on your body type and weight. Read the specifics so you may choose wisely. I do want to note that since the blanket is heavy, it does warm your body more than a regular quilt, comforter or blanket. It embraces the body tightly, so you need to make sure that the temperature of your room is appropriate or you will heat up. Last comment is that it is expensive, but well worth the money. I had bought a weighted blanket before that was $50 and I returned it immediately as I did not like the material. It felt cheap. So, this one, although expensive, is premium and you're paying for a good quality blanket.
