Nice and compact

The only issue I had with this was the riser piece that controls the arm was very sticky and had to be exercised to get functioning properly. Other than that it works great. Only suggestion I would have is a locking latch that prevents the lid from falling.

Three of these have have been defective.

This particular Victrola model has been awful. Maybe we just have bad luck? The first one we purchased online, came as an obviously-returned product. It wasn't packed correctly and there was a switch that was broken. We returned that one and purchased another one directly from the store. That one had a dragging turn table. Every time any record played, it brushed on the bottom with every beat. We returned that one, now on our 3rd.....and a speaker is broken! For reference, we own a different Victrola model (an even more basic, cheaper one), and never had an issue. Not sure the issue!
