Nice tie, too short - make sure you measure

Good looking tie but bought for my average height/weight 11 year old and it's like 2-3 inches too short. He had to wear it with a vest to hide the length. Bought a size L 8-14year old. It says 15inches. I should have measured so that is my fault.
