For matching our personal need and for also matching their own product claims, we give this item five stars. The rack arrives broken down in pieces which go together easily with a included instructions and good quality hardware and requires your own phillips head screwdriver and the included tool for tightening the nuts. Goes together quickly and once together is quite sturdy - no swaying or tilting once it's put together. This seems a well-engineered product. We installed our rack in our basement mechanical room and attached it to a rough wall using a 1"x4" firring strip to first attach the rack to the strip using the pre-drilled holes in the rack wall supports, then we screwed the 1"x4" to the irregular wall. Once attached we loaded up the rack and it easily holds the weight without sag or failure of any kind. The adjacent wooden racks we already owned only fit standard-sized wine bottles and we were concerned whether this new rack would fit them. These larger bottles easily fit into the larger openings of this new rack. Since this one worked so well, we will soon order another one for our other wall.

Simple to assemble and reasonably sturdy, this wine rack really delivers efficient storage of a lot of bottles in a compact amount of space. Best bang for the bottle rack out there.
