this allows you to use your ps4, ps5 or even xbox controller on the Nintendo switch console. It comes in handy if your playing a racing simulator game where as the Nintendo switch buttons are clicks either 100% on or off so its hard to be easy on the throttle or brakes while playing. i recommend it
