I bought this to get all the blown in dirt, dust and sand in the pool. The robot pool cleaner does a good job but what it don't get, this vacuum does. The suction was my main concern, and it has good suction. The run time was better than expected. It was easy to use and assemble. I would suggest using a longer pole to reach the middle of the pool it was a little short for me, but got the job done.

I love this compact pool vacuum! I had to wait for warmer weather to finally use it and it was worth the wait! The beginning of spring is when the bottom of the pool is the dirtiest. It has fabulous suction power because it gobbled up every piece of dirt in its path. (The instructions for putting it together were a little too vague for me, but with the help of my husband, i muddled through.) Other than that, I am completely pleased with this pool vacuum. It's perfection for my smaller sized pool and next, I will vacuum the hot tub!
