Airwalk Men's Grind Lace Sneaker

Airwalk stopped making these in the all gray color (which my man loves). He had several pairs of those, which eventually become work shoes that he wears until they fall off his feet (many rounds of Gorilla glue/Shoe Goo keep them going). So, he could not get past the green/blue color. This green color is like a bright Kelly green! What were they thinking for an adult man's shoe (I could see for a 5 yr old. Looked like clown feet in a size 13). As these are "the most comfortable shoe I've ever had" per my husband. Well, I ordered a couple of black shoe paint pens and a clear paint pen (both acrylic I think, but meant for shoe leather). 3 coats over the green with black, drying in between, then two coats of clear over that, dried in between. I left the navy blue alone as it's dark anyway...now he has black/navy Airwalks! No running or fading of color, which I was worried about and he has comfy shoes. The paint pens were like 8 bucks...also found on Amazon. I'm going to buy another pair of these and do the same thing...but I'm hopeful Airwalk will make normal color shoes for men again soon!

Good looking shoes. The laces dont seem too durable but those are easily replaceable. There's some minor imperfections with the stitching but I doubt most people would notice. The shoes have a surprisingly wide toe box, which is rare for this kind of skater type shoe so that's a plus for anyone with feet on the wider side. The soles are pretty hard, which can make them a little firm to walk on, although hopefully this makes them a little more durable too (problem can just be solved with a 75¢ insole). Overall, so far I'd definitely recommend them for the listed price. If you can get them at a discount like I did then even better
