This is a beautiful stand. I was a bit overwhelming putting it together! Once you get started it is easier as long as you follow the directions. Seem a little unsteady, so I put bricks on the bottom shelf . This seemed to help and it wasn't so woobly. It looks beautiful with little fairy lights! Got alot of compliments on it!

This shelf/plant stand serves my exact needs. I wanted a variable height shelf, that was affordable, but nice looking. This was so easy to put together, it was almost therapeutic! Are there a lot of pieces? Yes, but do not let that deter you. The package includes gloves, a small sturdy plastic mallet and all the pieces you need, with fairly clear instructions. They even include one extra of individual pieces, just in case! The assembly involves hammering the wood pieces into the plastic ends, so it isnt a quiet activity, but I had a lot of fun. Assembly took about an hour, total, by myself. My "just in case" pieces were used to put a cross bar in the open middle section to center a hanging plant. We also screwed a solid wood backing because we used this plant stand as a room divider and wanted it to hide the cords behind the tv. Win- Win- Win!
