It does feel nice when you have to get in a cold vehicle but I thought it was too warm for general use. Now, if you were stranded somewhere, this would be the blanket you would want. It did seem like it would keep warming even when the vehicle was off so I always unplugged it when we left the vehicle to prevent a dead battery.
