My previous couch was destroyed by a dog, and I needed something inexpensive to place in my living room while determining if I could invest in a nice couch again. I was between this and an IKEA couch, and I'm so glad I went with this option. I am genuinely surprised how decent this couch is for the money. It's aesthetically inoffensive, easy to put together (I did it by myself; no tools needed) and is of reasonable quality. The only true negative is that the seats are not very deep, so with the back cushions on, it feels like you are sitting too far forward. For my purposes, this is not a problem. This couch would be good for a dorm or first apartment. I have blankets draped over the couch to keep it clean in the attached photo.
