It came fully assembled (huge win), and the moment I took it out of the box, I was impressed by the quality. I am shocked these chairs are not more expensive! We bought two for our fireplace area. We love everything about them! The swivel is smooth and not loose, and they feel so sturdy. They are wide enough to curl up in. No assembly required!! The best thing is the texture of the faux leather - it feels thick and buttery, not squeaky at all.
