Perfect under your prettiest tablecloth for protecting a beautifully finished dining table OR - as in my case - for topping an unfinished plank of wood (which I place over my small-ish doning table when I need to accommodate more diners!) to give it a softer feel AND especially to protect my beautiful tablecloths from unintended snags on the wood! You may want to iron out the folds; I'm OK with them.
