Needed two pairs for granddaughters we were taking on a weekend trip to the beach. One is a size 13 and the other is a size 1. The younger one will be able to use both again next season the older one will only be able to use this year. They did not want to take off as they ran around the beach and pool. Got these for my kids to use in the pool but also to use on non pool days in the backyard and when they go on the trampoline. they are a snug fit purposefully so they don't fall off in the pool. so if you're kid is between sizes I would size up so it's not difficult to get on.

I wear these on the rainy or sloppy days when I don't wan't to get my Time and True ot Wonder Nations sneakers wet. I wear them just like shoes, and I even wear socks with them. They work perfectly and have a nice assortment of colors too. And the water won't hurt them and they can easily be washed in the sink or a bucket!
