Great quality, sturdy bed!

Our little guy absolutely loves his bed!! Last year I bought a similar bed from this brand through walmart for our eight-year-old. And he loves his bed. The six-year-old wanted one like it, and I ended up coming across this velvety upholstered platform bed. He has sensory issues and I knew the velvety texture would be perfect for him. He absolutely loves it. It's a twin size platform bed. You only need a mattress, no box springs necessary. I'll probably order a 8 inch mattress because the one he has is slightly shorter than the headboard space but he doesn't mind. This bed is solid, a grown-up can lay on it and be comfortable. The instructions were very clear and the bed was extremely easy to assemble. My boys helped assemble the bed, and had such a great time building it with me. I highly recommend this brand! As I said, I have two different twin sized platform beds from this brand and they both have been perfect for our needs and very affordable! They are both a great, sturdy quality.

Adjustable, No Problematic Side Legs, But Low

I bought this frame because the headboard heigh is adjustable. I used the low setting which is about 2" lower than the high setting. I'm using an 8.5" mattress, so I didn't want a gap between that and the headboard bottom. I also liked that this frame didn't have middle legs on the side to accidentally stub your toes on. Since my guests are older, I wish the bed was a little taller. Also, I'm not sure how well the plastic footboard legs will hold up over time. The other legs are wood. The only thing I recommend from assembly is to make sure the 3 pieces making the headboard back are straight on the edges, so the design squares line up.
