It was very easy to assemble, few parts that fit perfectly. I wanted to try it out, so I cooked some chicken breasts, cooled them and put several pieces to be chopped up. It chopped those pieces with NO problem. This will speed up the "dog food-making" process to just ONE or maybe TWO hours. I previously used a completly hand-driven chopper. My biceps improved dramatically, but it was exhausting. I will definitely enjoy using this cool appliance on "dog food days"
