once I figured out how to put it together and got it primed it, worked great to get the dirt that was tracked in out of the bottom of our hot tub. This will be good for when we have to do water changes also to pump the water out. I would reccomend this for the price, it gets the job done. It seems to be well made too, ive used it twice now and it has had no flaws.
