Cousin DIY Coated Copper Wire, Silver Finish, 22 Gauge, 32 ft Roll

I haven't been Wire Wrapping very long, so when I try a new technique, I like to practise on a wire that's not going to hurt if I ruin it. Sorry if that sounds crass, but this is not Sterling Silver or an expensive top brand. Even that sounds snooty! DIY Cousins is a craft brand with a lot of versatility. Flexible, yet doesn't work harden too quickly. You can use it for wrapping costume jewelry, but it does tend to oxidize quickly, if handled too frequently. That's why I use it to practice using new techniques. Costume Jewelrys' new, trending term is "Temporary Jewelry". I'm not saying don't use this. All Costume Jewelry is temporary because its' finish will wear off or tarnish quicker than most and I am not a Metalsmith, working in Sterling Silver or Fine Gold. Just we females tend to wear the heck out things we love, and this has a shortened life span in long term, daily wear. Stay away from pools, (Chlorine), showering and perfumes, as they ruin the temporary tarnish resistant finish, more quickly. Remember, this wire makes things you wear occasionally, clean carefully after wear and Re box it until you take the new made treasure out again for a brag session in public or out on the town!
