Beware – Spritz maker made of plastic parts!

I selected this Nordic Ware spritz maker to replace an old one I have. Nordic Ware baking products are usually top rated. This item, however, is primarily made of plastic parts and did not last through my first batch of cookies. The ratchet piece (metal) soon wore out the plastic parts, and rendered his spritz cookie maker useless. I returned within days for a refund. Do not buy; this is an inferior device!

NordicWare should be embarrassed

This thing is absolutely useless. I loaded my dough in it, pulled the trigger, and as soon as it hit any resistance it stopped clicking. The tube is not perfectly sealed so even when I was able to force it down some, it just pushed dough up above the stopper. I bought it specifically because it had the Nordic Ware name and honestly when it arrived it looked pretty low quality but I figured I would give it a shot. Now I have to run to the store on Christmas Eve to buy a cookie press because this one isn't making a single cookie. Maybe it's okay for frosting or very light doughs, but it is utterly worthless for typical Danish butter cookies.
