seems to be sturdy enough. The (S) fits a 13lb oversized chihuahua. The strap adjusters dont the straps very well after adjustment. Nothing that a quick tack with needle and thread couldnt fix it. Picky dog likes this harness. comes with bonus leash!

I've never used a harness like this before so I wasn't sure if it would work for my 10 pound chihuahua. But after I got it adjusted to her size, which was easier than expected, I loved it. She was a little hesitant because of it going over her head but soon was fine with it. It looks so cute on her. I would purchase again and I would recommend it.

Great buy for a little guy

This was the perfect harness and leash combination for a little shitzu in my life. The little guy took to it like a fish to water, he loves it. It's perfect for training small dogs to walk on a leash, as it doesn't choke or hurt them when they get ahead of themselves (and their owners). As some reviews note, the ends go right through the buckles. But, it does not seem to be an issue while walking; the straps stay in place.
