Zircon: a great moisture detector for non-traveler

I have used this item for years, in fact I have several around the house wherever there is the risk of water leakage. I cannot travel far away from home, so the fact that these are self-contained, except for the 9 volt battery that the user must insert and check once a year or so, this works for me. But, if you need a moisture detector that must be interfaced to the internet because you travel away from home overnight, and if the cost of the detector is not an issue, you would be better to look for a unit that is interfaceable to the internet and your cell phone.
