I love these drapes and it is not the first set I bought. They've worked so well in one room, I bought them for another. They function perfectly as light blockers and I've also found they reduce heat gain during the summer and heat loss during the winter. Otherwise I love that they fall so neatly and straight to the floor when pushed back to the side of the window. It gives a tailored look to the room. And I no longer have to fight and tussle to push the curtains out of the way for the views from my windows. And, if you are considering shortening these curtains, let me assure you they are easy to trim and sew. One pair was too long for a gable window and I was worried I'd have a tussle when cutting and restitching them. But in fact, cutting up, pinning, and pushing three layers (four in some spots) of the thick plush through my very basic sewing machine proved among the easiest hemming jobs I've ever done. The fabric is a real dream; it flowed fast and straight under the needle.

After looking online at similar items I found these drapes, and the quality is what you would expect to find at a much higher price point. They were a little wrinkled from shipping and I just used my Conair hand-held steamer (which you can also get at Walmart!) and they look and feel very luxe!
