Better than a high chair! We moved to a place with a bar countertop so we didn't see the need for a full dinning table high chair. these straps are very secure for attaching to the chair. The leg straps are adjusted to give our son a little wiggle room without worrying about him falling out. easy wipe down, the back in sturdy, and the insert is very easy to clean. We love it. the table is a little tight at least for our marshmallow boy, but it wouldve been perfect before 17m old lol. LOVE ITA

I have 3. 2 for toddlers and 1 for a 9 month old. I wouldn't use it for an infant who can't sit yet on their own, and I don't walk away when the baby is in the seat as the arms are quite short. The protusion on the tray that goes between the legs did initially have sharp edges for little legs, so I did have to smooth that down. The locking mechanism for the tray can be quite difficult to get clipped on, but once on, it's very secure. The baby is quite pudgy and still fits in the seat well with thunder thighs. It's definitely good for spaces that couldn't fit a regular highchair.
