Pizza screens are flat round surfaces created from aluminum mesh that have heat resistance and are commonly used by pizza makers all around the world. The metal plates allow moisture to escape through the much better circulation of hot air through the holes on the plates. They also come in a wide range of different sizes which allow you to fit them into different oven models. Pizzas are baked more evenly with pizza screens as the metal plates allow the hot air to flow from below the dough to the surface. The crust of the pizzas will be much crispier, and a shorter period of baking time will be required as there is less contact with the dough.
