A very handy storage ottoman
The fabric is sturdy and a nice color, but by no means plush. I added a fluffy blanket on top to make it more pleasant to sit on. It has a low profile, which I fixed with some pillows. I had my doubts about whether it could actually bear weight, but it does and is perfect for changing shoes. Also, it is just really nice to have the added storage capacity. We put it at the bottom of our bed in the master bedroom. Someday, I would love to upgrade to a lovely cedar hope chest, but for now some cedar blocks will do nicely. I would imagine that it would also function well as a toy chest for folks with kids.
