This ottoman does not take up much space, it is extremely sturdy (I am 180 lbs and can sit on it to put my shoes on), it requires no assembly, great for storage of blankets and heavier items and also has a divider if you choose to use it) I actually placed it at the foot of my bed.

Wow. Just wow. I didn't expect this to be so nice for the price. I got this on sale for 50% off - I didn't really need it, it just looked nice and matched my loveseat, so I figured I could use it somehow. It arrived, and I put it together in less than 5 minutes. In fact, it took me longer to open the box and unwrap it than it did to assemble it. By “assemble,” I do not mean with tools - the cushioned tufted lid is a solid piece, as is the sturdy bottom. I simply unfolded the large “box” part, stiffened it with the bottom, and velcroed in the optional middle divider. Then put on the top. Done. I was sitting on it, admiring how sturdy it felt, when hubby entered the room. I said, “Isn't it nice?” He said, “where are you going to put it?” I don't know where it will end up, right now I'm thinking extra holiday seating, but it's so nice, I think I might need one for each bedroom later! You will love this!
