Get one. don't waste money on a brushed steel can.

This is replacing a $100 stainless steel foot pedal lidded trash can that lasted less than a month. I've had these plastic flip top trash cans in the past and they've lasted me years. why spend $100 on a brushed steel trash can when this plastic flip top one will last literally years. Not sure why I switched from this can to begin with.

Great for Dry Trash and Clean Recyclables

These are great! I got 2 of them. One for recycling and one for dry trash. I know we all use trash bags, but the reason I recommend for dry trash and *clean* recyclables is because of the swing door on the lid. I use a different type of trash can for regular kitchen garbage. One that has a tighter-sealing lid and a step open function. But I highly recommend this one.
