Super easy to put together! I assembled it by myself and had no issues, I used boxes to hold up the mattress frame. We went from an older early 2000 style crib to this crib. I read online that drop down side cribs were not safe and being unaware of this that's exactly what we had! I looked online didn't love any of the in-store options and wanted something that wasn't going to break the bank since I wasn't planning on making a big purchase. This was perfect, the price point is great and it arrived the next day!!! Something else to note, if you're short this is a great option. We had that early 2000 crib for a couple reasons, one was the style, but the second was because of the drop-down option. I am 5 foot tall so I was nervous for when we would need to lower the mattress down that I would have a hard time reaching my baby without a drop down side. With this crib, I went ahead and put it together it on the second setting. Since my baby hasn't figured out sitting up on their own, I do have to bend over a little bit more, but it's definitely not impossible and this crib does sit lower than my early 2000 crib so definitely a great option because I am still able to get him out.m without much fuss. I couldn't be happier with this purchase
