Consider Better Options First

Only redeeming quality I can share is the metal is one grade better than its competing low-end comparable. It should not dent nearly as easy as the already-assembled brand known in this retail chain. As for buying an unassembled filing cabinet again, it's an easy pass in this homestead. It earned its 3-star here due to final appearance. As for security, like low-enders, no bottom plate is include thusly leaving the entire internal contents easily accessible for all the wrong reasons. It defies the purpose of buying a 'locking' mechanism and amplifies the old adage 'you get what you pay for'. You'll need to upspend if you're seeking reasonable securement of your private content.

Not worth the time and energy

This cabinet came in pieces, I have never had to put a cabinet together before, it’s not a very solid piece, the lock does not work, there is nothing to connect it to. I will out my files in it to see if it holds without falling apart otherwise I will be returning it. Not worth the time or money to do the labor. I wouldn’t buy this again.

They definitely have the looks and a good form and the right size. However, the material is not very sturdy. The assembly information was clear however, the fully assembled item looks cricket and not very symmetrical. It could be just my luck and I end up with a defective one. But I kept it anyway. No time to di assembled and ship it back.
