Simply Gorgeous

Never thought I'd prefer something so shiny to my beloved matte lipsticks but WOW. I own Scarlet Flame and Spicy Mauve and I can't wait to get more. I like how buildable the coverage is. These aren't super long-lasting, but that is to be expected from an oil lipstick. It leaves a light stain behind.

Baddest Beige 050

I picked up this shade after seeing Jaclyn Hill RAVE about it in her 2018 makeup favorites video on YouTube and had to give it a try & i do NOT like a matte liquid lipstick/lipstick so this sounded perfect for me! Just like myself, she's obsessed with a nude lip so I knew it was going to be good. Let me just say, it did not disappoint! It's a beautiful nude shade!! I actually really like the formula of this lipstick. It's different from anything else I've tried before. It's got a beautiful, hydrating, high shine finish on the lips. It's like a gloss but in lipstick form. Not heavy or sticky like a gloss tho. It's perfect! You do have to reapply throughout the day but I don't mind that. I'd rather reapply throughout the day then have a matte liquid lipstick make my lips look more dry then they are or wear off weird/funny & have to worry about how my lips look. Anyways, can't wait to try out more nude shades! #Babelline for life!

So so good!

These lipsticks are perfection! I never got into the matte liquid lip phase so I was so happy to see a brand come out with a shiny & hydrating lipstick, as they were getting hard to find. I have spicy mauve which is a great neutral, and spicy sangria which I wore all thru fall. I'm going back for some spring/summer colors soon. Great job Maybelline!
