The Beadsmith Waxed Brazilian Cord – Dark Grey, 0.7 mm Diameter, Light Wax, 15 Yards (13.7 m)

If you're stocking up your craft space or gearing up for a new project, The Beadsmith’s Knot-It cord is a dependable choice. This 2-ply waxed polyester cord is ideal for knotting beads and gemstones, kumihimo braiding, macramé, jewelry stringing, and more. Waxed polyester is popular in the beading and craft world for its smooth texture, durability, and easy handling. The light wax finish gives the cord just the right amount of stiffness to make threading beads easy—often without a needle—and helps knots hold securely. It’s fray-resistant, washable, and keeps its shape, even after repeated use. Knot It cord is great for all kinds of jewelry projects, from simple friendship bracelets to knotted necklaces and pendants. It works well for both beginners and experienced crafters. At 0.7 mm thick, it fits through a wide range of beads including glass, wood, crystal, and plastic. You can choose the format that suits your project best: a large 144-meter spool for bigger jobs, a 15-yard card in a single color, or a mix card with four coordinating shades—15 yards of each. With a wide selection of vibrant colors available, you can find the perfect match for your designs. Imported from Brazil, this waxed cord also finds its way into other creative crafts like book binding, sewing accents, leather projects, and even shoemaking. Its strength and smooth finish make it a staple in many types of handmade work. Add Knot-It to your jewelry and craft supplies and enjoy making pieces that are colorful, strong, and built to last. PLEASE NOTE: Colors may vary slightly due to screen and lighting differences.
