The colors are vibrant. My granddaughter loves it. She wears princess dresses every day, so she plays in them, changes multiple times a day, and then they get thrown in the washer and dryer. This one's holding up pretty good. She's been playing in it for about two months. That includes digging in the garden, jumping on the trampoline, riding her training wheeled bike, and rough-housing in the hose with siblings. I'll edit when I find the original order as to the size I bought. She's a tall 6 year old. Not bony, not chubby.

This is a beautiful costume, from the dress to the accessories to the gloves and cape but with the cape just make sure you are attentive when your child is wearing it as far as like tieing it up. The dress runs a bit smedium(small and medium) so maybe a size down.
