AA batteries compared to alternate choices

The sensors use AA batteries and therefore should last longer than AAA cells used in other products. This is a good alternative to monitor temperature in a refrigerator and freezer. With children in the house, we have no control over an "open door policy". Large readout with a magnetic on the door monitor.

Great product

This is an awesome thermometer, especially for the money. It works great and we now know our food is being kept at a safe temperature without having to open the refrigerator to try and read a regular thermometer really fast before it's temperature reading starts going up. We had no problems with the setup. The display is easy to read.
