Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours inside the plastic freezer bag provided or use your own. If it's too cold immediately out of the freezer, let it sit out until it reaches your desired temperature before placing comfortably on your head. ο»ΏConsult your physician and/or seek medical attention if the pain continues or gets worse.Heating instructions:Remove product from any plastic bags. Make sure the product is not cold and at room temperature. Microwave starting at 20 seconds and add in 10-second increments to get the desired temperature. For the Wrist Sleeve, microwave starting at 10 seconds and add in 5-second increments to get the desired temperature. All microwaves may vary.

I think this item is expensive but after repeated injury to my ankles and need to ice them both over night often, this sleeve is fantastic and makes it so easy to sleep with it on. No Velcro or flaps, just smoothe and easy to get on and off. Perfect temp, in my opinion. Cold feeling lasts about 20-30min which is quite good.
