this is a top swing. Im a grandmother who used windup swings not made anymore. These are closest thing and I love it. So far 3 grandchildren have used it and its still swinging perfectly. I love the color and the print and the size. I only put a lower score because it's a little bit fluffy and not as stable as I would like it. I'm feeling like the swing should've been more stable for a baby to sit in possibly consider considering to return it.
